Supreme Space Council Vice President Congratulates Leadership on Completion of Kingdom's Scientific Mission in Space

Vice President of the Supreme Space Council and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Saudi Space Commission Eng. Abdullah Alswaha has extended his congratulations to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Prime Minister and President of the Supreme Space Council, on the successful completion of the Saudi astronauts' mission aboard the International Space Station (ISS).

Al-Swaha said: "This historic achievement would not have been accomplished without His Royal Highness the Crown Prince's unwavering support for the Kingdom's astronaut program and his follow-up on all the details of this scientific mission that made history with the arrival of the Saudi astronauts Ali Al-Qarni and Rayyanah Barnawi, the first Arab Muslim female astronaut, to the ISS."

He added that the scientific research and experiments carried out on board ISS are in line with the national ambitions for research, development and innovation adopted by His Royal Highness the Crown Prince in affirmation of the Kingdom's commitment to empowering people, protecting the planet and shaping new horizons through space science and research.
