Minister of Communications Meets with UN Under-Secretary-General in New York

The Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, met today in New York with the United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Economic and Social Affairs, Li Junhua.
During their meeting, the two discussed the Kingdom’s leading efforts in the Global Digital Compact and the "Our Common Agenda" declaration, according to a statement by the ministry.
They explored how to enhance Saudi talent and capacities to support the UN's work in the Middle East and globally to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Eng. Al-Swaha and Li Junhua discussed the latest developments regarding this year's upcoming Internet Governance Forum (IGF) in Saudi Arabia.
