Alswaha Discusses Strengthening Space Sector Partnership with SpaceX Leaders

Minister of Communications and Information Technology and Chairman of the Board of the Saudi Space Agency Eng. Abdullah Alswaha has held talks with SpaceX's President Gwynne Shotwell and other company leaders during his official visit to the US.
Discussions focused on expanding the strategic partnership in space exploration and technology, and boosting national competencies in the sector.
The meeting, part of the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to bolster the space sector and improve its infrastructure, delved into current and future developments in space endeavors aimed at ensuring a more advanced and prosperous future for humanity.
The visit is set to include meetings with key players in the space industry, which will highlight the growing space sector in the Kingdom, lead to further collaboration in the transfer of knowledge and development of human capabilities, and stimulate investment in the Saudi space sector.
