About
The Office for the Support and Acceleration of Infrastructure Projects (PAO) is the focal point for any queries related to the implementation of digital infrastructure and civil works for telecommunications companies, contractors, municipalities, and ministries. The PAO is tasked with resolving issues arising during the implementation of the infrastructure and maintaining open communication channels with all parties.
The main task of the PAO is to support and accelerate the implementation of digital infrastructure initiatives carried out by telecommunications companies for both wireless as well as fixed networks.

Reviewing policies and regulations that have impact on telecom projects
Helping the telecom sector in the geospatial data and NSDI And represent it with the responsible organizations

- Contribute to raising the quality of the implementation of civil works for the telecommunications sector through the holding of workshops and meetings with the relevant authorities
- Fully cooperate to update the specifications of field works for the 2019 edition by the Ministry of municipal and Rural Affairs and housing, where the micro trenching technology has been included and updated some specifications related to field works related to the telecommunications sector.
- The application of micro trenching technology by telecom companies and showing the positives of the technology.
- Inclusion of the Telecom Building Code guide within the Saudi Building Code, and updating the regulations of the communications and Information Technology Authority based on it.
- Fully support the problems of site rental fees of telecommunications companies with various government agencies and reach satisfactory solutions for all parties.
- Apply the neutral host model in the third Saudi expansion at the Grand Mosque in Makkah and improve the level of coverage in all expansion roles.
- Working with the stakeholders in the Two Holy Mosques to apply the neutral host model to the entire Two Holy Mosques in order to improve communication services and optimize investment to provide those services.
- Contribute to the coverage of housing projects with communications services.
