Communications Minister Discusses Expanding Cooperation on AI Policy and Technological Innovation with White House Advisors
Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah Alswaha met with David Sacks, Senior Advisor to the White House on Artificial Intelligence and Digital Assets, during the Kingdom’s participation in the World Economic Forum in Davos. The meeting focused on advancing Saudi–U.S. cooperation in AI policy and technological innovation, in support of both countries’ ambitions to lead in advanced technologies.
The discussions underscored the importance of strengthening the strategic partnership between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States in priority technology areas, enabling growth opportunities in the digital economy, and accelerating the adoption of innovative solutions in the intelligent age.
Eng. Alswaha also met with Michael Kratsios, Director of the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP), to explore ways to enhance collaboration in technology and digital innovation and to build partnerships that support the next phase of the intelligent era.
These engagements reflect the Kingdom’s commitment to deepening international cooperation with leading global partners to advance responsible AI, foster innovation, and drive sustainable growth in the digital economy
