Upcoming Saudi-US Cooperation to Accelerate Growth of Digital Content Market in Saudi Arabia

Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Sawaha yesterday started his visit to the united States of America (USA) with the aim of enhancing cooperation and boosting investment between the two countries in the fields of digital economy, innovation and space.
During his meetings, Al-Sawaha met with President and COO of Omnicom Media Group Daryl Simm with the aim of speeding up the growth rate of the digital content market in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and developing the creative capabilities of Saudi youth.
The meeting also highlighted the importance of enhancing cooperation and supporting IGNITE Program that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia launched during the first edition of LEAP conference to create and produce digital content, in addition to holding creative and innovative digital media events that support the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s efforts in the fields of innovation and digital economy.
The meetings also included several specialized technological companies in the fields of FinTech, software, and administrating alternative investments.
