Saudi Arabia’s delegation, headed by the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, met yesterday in Seattle, USA, with Göran Marby, President and Chief Executive Officer of the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), and discussed with him means to develop scopes of cooperation between the two sides.
The delegation also discussed the importance of promoting global acceptance and international domain names with a focus on Arab domains, developing human capabilities and raising awareness, developing the Saudi domain industry, organizing workshops, and holding conferences inside the Kingdom.
