Daniah Orkoubi is the Acting Deputy Minister for the Technology Foresight and Digital Economy Deputyship, which was created recently. Orkoubi has a successful track record that qualified her previously to become Chief Economist at MCIT. Additionally, she was working at the Ministry of Economy and Planning since November 2016, where she served many positions, most recently Chief Economist at the Ministry.

Orkoubi was also an Economist in the strategy sector at King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy. Moreover, she joined the International Monterey Fund in September 2012, as an Advisor to the Saudi Executive Director. In May 2013, she became the first Saudi women to join the Fund staff as Research Analysist in the Strategy and Partnerships Unit in the ME and Central Asia Management.

Ms. Daniah Orkoubi has Master’s degree in Economics from the University of South Florida.
