MCIT Discusses Cooperation, Partnership, Investment with Digital Economy Ministers

 

The Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Alswaha, held several meetings today with various communications and digital economy ministers on the sidelines of the G20 Digital Economy Ministers meeting, whose chaired by the Republic of India at its current session.

During his meeting with Egyptian Minister of Communications and Information Technology Amr Talaat, Alswaha discussed the Saudi-Egyptian partnership in the digital economy and joint projects in support of youth, women and entrepreneurship.

Alswaha also engaged with Turkish Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacir to explore opportunities for enhancing cooperation in the digital economy, emerging technologies, and entrepreneurship. In addition to the space technology partnership.

In a separate meeting with the UK Minister for Tech and the Digital Economy, Paul Scully, Alswaha discussed the ongoing Saudi-British cooperation.

Additionally, he discussed bilateral cooperation in the digital economy with the Minister of Information Technology, Communication, and Innovation of the Republic of Mauritius, Deepak Balgobin.
