Digital Economy, Innovation Delegation Meets with Heads of Chinese Investment Funds

The visiting Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Alswaha and Silk Road Fund (SRF) Chairwoman Zhu Jun discussed the strategic partnership between the two sides and ways to enhance joint technology investment.
During the meeting in Beijing, the two sides discussed China’s access to regional markets through the Kingdom, which owns the largest share of the region’s digital economy.
The two sides also discussed support for the digital economy and entrepreneurship.
The meeting was attended by Saudi Ambassador to the People's Republic of China Abdulrahman Alharbi.
Vice Minister of Communications and Information Technology Haytham Alohali also met with ZhenFund officials and discussed cooperation and start-up investments with its co-founder Victor Wang.
The meetings were part of the official visit of Alswaha and his accompanying delegation to China to enhance technology and investment cooperation.
