H.E. Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, met in the United States with Mr. Lip-Bu Tan, CEO of Intel, to discuss areas of partnership in developing semiconductor and advanced computing technologies, and enhancing collaboration in building AI infrastructure and future technologies.

The meeting comes as part of the Kingdom’s efforts to reinforce its position as a global hub for artificial intelligence and advanced computing, and to localize value chains in semiconductor technologies, in support of Saudi Vision 2030 objectives, strengthening the competitiveness of the digital economy and the Kingdom’s leadership in future technologies.
