Minister of Communications Meets with U.S. Secretary of Commerce to Explore Prospects of Cooperation in the Digital Economy and Advanced Technologies
Washington, D.C. – H.E. Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, met with H.E. Howard Lutnick, U.S. Secretary of Commerce, in the presence of H.R.H. Princess Reema bint Bandar Al Saud, the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States.
The meeting aimed to explore new avenues of cooperation between the Kingdom and the United States in the digital economy, artificial intelligence, and advanced technologies, in line with the Kingdom’s efforts to strengthen global partnerships and drive innovation.
The discussions also focused on enhancing collaboration in innovation and entrepreneurship, empowering partnerships between the public and private sectors, and advancing an integrated digital economic ecosystem that promotes sustainable growth and knowledge and technology exchange between both nations.
