MCIT Launches 'Mostaqbali' Program to Train 50,000 Saudis in AI
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology has launched the "Mostaqbali" (My Future) program in partnership with Oracle and the National eLearning Center (NeLC), through the national eLearning platform FutureX, to develop national competencies and equip 50,000 Saudi men and women with artificial intelligence (AI) skills and other in-demand digital technologies for the future labor market.
The program is an extension of the ministry's efforts to support the transition to the era of smart technologies, enabling citizens to pursue eLearning and develop their technology capabilities. It also strengthens the localization of digital talent and provides equal opportunities for all segments of society across various educational and professional stages.
The initiative is open to all ages and groups and includes 23 training tracks totaling 300 training hours. Upon fulfilling the requirements, participants receive recognized professional certificates. The program covers a wide range of technical specialties, including AI, cloud computing, database management, Oracle applications, and other vital digital skills.
The program focuses on empowering recent graduates, employees, and female talent through specialized training programs that refine digital skills and foster innovation in AI fields, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to build a prosperous, knowledge- and innovation-based digital economy.
The ministry invited interested individuals to register for the program through the national eLearning platform FutureX at https://forms.nelc.gov.sa/en/mostaqbali.
