'LEARN 2025' Conference Kicks Off with New Initiatives to Empower National Talents for Leadership in the Smart Era

The second edition of the "LEARN 2025" Conference kicked off today, organized by the LEARN platform in strategic partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology. The event is being held at Mohammed bin Salman Nonprofit City (Misk City) in Riyadh.
The conference features 205 speakers, 65 local and international entities, and numerous experts in skills and technology development from inside and outside the Kingdom, presenting the latest solutions and technologies for developing future capabilities.
In a session titled "Policy Innovation for Workforce Empowerment: Advancing Skills Through Government Initiatives,” Acting Deputy Minister of Communications and Information Technology for Future Capabilities and Jobs Safa Al-Rashed said that empowering young talent with advanced technology is the main driver of digital economy growth. She emphasized that real investment lies in building a generation that dares to ask questions and can turn every new tool into added value for a prosperous future.
Chairman of the Conference Board Abdulaziz AlMugyteeb said that the learning journey cannot be complete without mastering five essential skills that serve as core tools for building an innovative generation capable of keeping pace with technological transformations in the era of artificial intelligence. He noted the importance of these skills in a reality where four generations coexist within the same era, requiring strong knowledge momentum and deep human understanding.
The conference witnessed the launch of several pioneering initiatives aimed at empowering national talents to lead in the smart era. These included the National Talent Enablement Program in AI Agent Technologies, which will train 2,000 Saudi experts in agent-based artificial intelligence systems; a specialized diploma to support data centers and AI; and the PUBG MOBILE WOW Hackathon, a university-level competition bringing together creators to design immersive interactive experiences inspired by Saudi identity.
Other initiatives launched included the Fuel Quantum Program by the Saudi Digital Academy to equip trainees with foundational knowledge of quantum computing in preparation for future technologies; a national initiative in partnership with Microsoft to train and qualify more than 100,000 participants through the Microsoft Center of Excellence; and the “One Million Minds” Program, targeting university students and graduates with advanced training tracks in data and artificial intelligence.
