Saudi Arabia, Brazil Sign Digital Economy Partnership at G20
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Federative Republic of Brazil signed a partnership agreement in the fields of digital economy and emerging technologies, including support for joint investments in innovation.
The agreement was signed by Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha and Brazilian Minister of Communications Frederico de Siqueira Filho. The signing took place during the G20 Digital Economy Ministerial Meeting, which was chaired by South Africa.
In the context of strengthening international partnerships, Minister Alswaha held a series of bilateral meetings. His discussion with the Brazilian minister focused on opportunities in research and development of modern technologies that will support innovation and enhance digital growth in both countries.
In a separate meeting, Minister Alswaha also discussed digital economy partnership opportunities with Minister of Industry and Information Technology of China Li Lecheng.
