Saudi Arabia to Participate in G20 Digital Economy, AI Ministerial Meetings
Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha will participate this week in the G20 ministerial meetings on digital economy and artificial intelligence, held under the chairmanship of South Africa.
The Kingdom's participation reflects its pivotal role and sustained efforts in leading global work on the digital economy and artificial intelligence. These efforts have been clearly demonstrated during Saudi Arabia's previous G20 presidency, when it presented a global roadmap for measuring the digital economy and unveiled the AI Ethics Principles to promote the responsible use of technology.
The minister will hold a series of bilateral meetings with his counterparts from around the world, underscoring Saudi Arabia's commitment to strengthening international partnerships and advancing digital innovation. The Kingdom aims at reinforcing its global leadership in the digital economy and artificial intelligence, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.
