Communications Ministry Launches Second Edition of ‘Saudi Game Champions‘ to Boost Gaming Entrepreneurship

The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, through the Center of Digital Entrepreneurship (CODE), has launched the second edition of the “Saudi Game Champions” program.

The initiative combines a Game Jam and a video game incubator program, aiming to support entrepreneurs interested in developing video games, in partnership with the National Technology Development Program and the support of ITMAM Consultancy, GameBCN, and Zigzag Ventures.

The program begins with the “Game Jam” event, which allows entrepreneurs to showcase their skills, collaborate with other talents, and receive valuable feedback on their game ideas.

The top 20 participating teams will qualify for the incubator program, which provides them with the resources and guidance needed to turn their game ideas into reality.

Participants in the incubator benefit from the expertise of industry professionals and mentors to refine their game concepts, enhance the gameplay experience, and receive specialized guidance on market trends.

At the conclusion of the program, the top 20 prototypes will be showcased by participants before a select group of experts, publishers, and investors in the gaming industry, creating opportunities for collaboration and investment.

CODE invited all interested individuals to participate and register for the program through the following link: https://code.mcit.gov.sa/en/saudi-game-champions-2.
