NTDP Celebrates Graduation of MVPLab Startups After Securing over SAR250 Million in Investment
The National Technology Development Program (NTDP) celebrated the graduation of startups benefiting from its MVPLab product, in the presence of Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha, along with representatives from government entities, the private sector, entrepreneurs, and members of the Kingdom’s innovation ecosystem. The event was held at The Garage in Riyadh.
MVPLab is one of NTDP’s flagship products, designed to empower entrepreneurs at the Minimum Viable Product (MVP) development stage. It provides an integrated support ecosystem that includes funding, workspace, mentorship, training, and strategic connections with relevant stakeholders—enhancing startups’ market readiness and accelerating their growth.
Throughout its journey, MVPLab has supported 1,179 startup projects and empowered 2,392 entrepreneurs. Participating companies have successfully closed investment rounds totaling more than SAR250 million, achieving a private-sector investment multiplier of 2.2x—demonstrating the impact of early-stage enablement in strengthening investment attractiveness and accelerating expansion.
The supported startups have also contributed to the creation of more than 5,000 jobs, reinforcing economic growth and generating high-quality employment opportunities. The program’s impact has extended across 10 Saudi cities—Qassim, Abha, Arar, Madinah, Al-Ahsa, Riyadh, Jeddah, Al-Baha, Al-Khobar, and Aseer, reflecting the expanding reach of the Kingdom’s entrepreneurship ecosystem nationwide.
