Minister for Communications and Information Technology Holds Discussions with Global ICT Leaders at LEAP22

Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, has held meetings with senior business leaders from some of the most influential companies in the ICT sector, over the course of three days at LEAP22.
The Minister hosted discussions with CEOs and other high-level decision makers that focused on a range of topics to support and expand Saudi Arabia’s position as the leading digital economy in the MENA region and to find areas for mutual collaboration. The series of meetings covered topics including increasing capacity and technical skills, digital transformation, establishing innovation and R&D in the Kingdom, investments, commercialization of technology, expanding vertical expertise, support for startups and the prospects for growth in Saudi Arabia.
Eng. Alswaha has met senior executives including Peggy Johnson, CEO, Magic Leap; Christian Klein, CEO, SAP; Saad Toma, General Manager, IBM Middle East & Africa; Andrew Sutherland, Senior Vice President, Systems and Technology, Oracle EMEA; Dr.Kai-Fu lee, Chairman and CEO of Sinovation Ventures; Aongus Hegarty, President, International Markets, Dell Technologies; and Guillaume Pousaz, CEO, Global Checkout.The inaugural LEAP is the world’s largest debut technology platform, attracting record numbers of registered attendees.
LEAP22 included the entire innovation ecosystem, and connected business and government leaders, entrepreneurs, investors and more to experience and learn about the technologies of the future.
