The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in partnership with Google Cloud, announced the launch of the AI and Cloud Kingdom Tour initiative. The initiative aims to equip national talent with future-focused skills in artificial intelligence and cloud computing through training programs to be held in 10 regions across the Kingdom.  The tour offers an integrated week-long training model in each city, combining virtual sessions with in-person practical labs. The approach links theoretical knowledge with hands-on application and provides participants with a flexible and effective learning experience.  The program includes several advanced tracks, most notably generative artificial intelligence, data analytics and machine learning, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity, and application modernization. The training is designed to align with the rapidly evolving demands of the technology job market.  Participants will receive attendance certificates, completion badges, and skill badges issued by Google Cloud, enhancing their professional qualifications and supporting career development.  The program targets students, graduates, developers, technology engineers, and practitioners, as well as individuals interested in developing their technical skills.  The tour will cover Madinah, Buraidah, Al-Jouf, Abha, Tabuk, Dammam, Jeddah, Arar, Hail, and Najran. H.E. Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, met with H.E. Mr. Chang Hua, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, to discuss opportunities to strengthen cooperation in the digital economy, digital infrastructure, and talent development, in support of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the strategic partnership between the two countries.
The two sides also discussed opportunities to expand collaboration with leading Chinese technology companies and strengthen their engagement with key national entities within Saudi Arabia’s technology ecosystem to develop high-impact joint projects and enhance the exchange of expertise and investments.

The Ministry of Investment, in partnership with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT), organized a specialized workshop today to showcase investment opportunities in AI data centers. The workshop was attended by H.E. Eng. Abdullah Alswaha, Minister of Communications and Information Technology, and H.E. Mr. Fahad AlSaif, Minister of Investment.

The workshop brought together more than 60 leaders from banks, financial institutions, investment groups, and family businesses across the Kingdom, alongside representatives from HUMAIN and the AI Enablement Office. Participants explored promising investment opportunities in the AI data center sector and discussed ways to strengthen private sector participation in developing the infrastructure required to support this strategic industry.

The workshop highlighted Saudi Arabia’s key enablers and competitive advantages for accelerating AI investments, including its attractive investment environment, advanced digital infrastructure, and supportive incentives that contribute to the rapid development of high-impact projects and strengthen the Kingdom’s global competitiveness.
